One of the most inspiring aspects of the Free Software movement has been its educational ethos: users teach each other and themselves, and share their experiences doing so. There is a rich history of peer education, which is now being re-examined and adapted by forward thinking organisations in light of new technologies and possibilities for self- directed learning.
