Mary Harrington

Mary knows a fair bit about bottom-up social organisations and the tools that help or hinder their development.

She's obsessed with 'offline social software'. In the course of trying to figure out what this means, she's run psychogeography workshops at the University of Openess, edited the collaborative email newsletter Pick Me Up, founded cult art event 'arthouseparty' and written several unpublished novels and a few published essays.

These days, she's co-founder of Seedcamp '07 finalist startup School of Everything, and when not organising art parties or learning how to be an entrepreneur writes about new online literary forms at the Institute for the Future of the Book.
