Foafnaut

The foafnaut is a dynamic visualisation of a Friend of a Friend network, executed in SVG and javascript some time in 2003 when that seemed like a good idea.

Groundbreaking at the time, the project has been critically undermined by the lack up uptake of SVG formats.

It is still the inspiration for many visualisations and projects that are still running today (the nm-x for example!)
